Operator Principal Customer Architect at Netomi

Principal technical leader who designs AI agent architectures, sets quality standards, and establishes deployment patterns for enterprise customer experience platforms.

What this role involves

About the Company:

Netomi is the leading agentic AI platform for enterprise customer experience. We work with the largest global brands like Delta Airlines, MetLife, MGM, United, and others to enable agentic automation at scale across the entire customer journey. Our no-code platform delivers the fastest time to market, lowest total cost of ownership, and simple, scalable management of AI agents for any CX use case. Backed by WndrCo, Y Combinator, and Index Ventures, we help enterprises drive efficiency, lower costs, and deliver higher quality customer experiences.

Want to be part of the AI revolution and transform how the world’s largest global brands do business? Join us!

About the Role:

Netomi is seeking a Principal Customer Architect — the senior-most technical individual contributor in our Customer Engineering organization. You will own the technical arc of the accounts where the stakes are highest — first-of-kind deployments, peak-event scale, regulated industries — and set the architecture, governance, and quality standards the entire Customer Architect function operates by.

Getting an AI agent live is no longer the hard part. The hard part is what comes after the pilot: expanding from one use case to twenty, holding quality as policies and systems change underneath you, proving containment and CSAT to a CIO, and earning the right to the next set of journeys. Solving that repeatably, across every account, is the job. The Principal Customer Architect is where the hardest versions of that problem land — and where the patterns that solve them for everyone else get written.

You are deeply credible in a design review — able to read an execution trace, reason about why an agent chose the wrong tool, and design guardrails and evaluation strategy. You set the architecture and own quality sign-off; our Agentic Deployment team executes. Your leverage comes from architecture, judgment, and the standards you set for others: the reference architectures, evaluation frameworks, and playbooks the function deploys from. The operating principle: make deployments prescriptive and repeatable, not bespoke.

Responsibilities:

Account Architecture:

  • Design the end-to-end agent architecture across the customer’s journeys and channels — chat, email, voice, SMS, in-app — including agent decomposition, escalation and handoff design, and how autonomous and human-in-the-loop modes divide the work.
  • Design the integration blueprint against the customer’s real stack: CRM and ticketing (Salesforce, Zendesk, ServiceNow), telephony and contact center, identity, loyalty and reservations systems, order and payments, and data platform.
  • Set the guardrail, governance, and observability architecture: define what the agent must never do, how that is enforced, how it is audited, and what the customer’s compliance and risk teams see.
  • Set the architecture and governance standard the Agentic Deployment team executes against, and own quality sign-off before anything reaches production.

Technical Success Planning:

  • Author and maintain a Technical Success Plan per account: current-state architecture, target-state architecture, the sequenced roadmap between them, and the metrics defining success at each stage.
  • Define the measurement model with the customer up front — containment, resolution rate, CSAT/DSAT, deflection economics, handle time, escalation quality, cost per resolution — and hold both sides to it.
  • Run a recurring technical business review with customer leadership: what shipped, what it moved, what’s next, and what’s at risk.

Adoption & Technical Expansion:

  • Own the technical expansion path for land-and-expand: chat to email to voice to employee-facing, plus new intents, lines of business, regions, and languages.
  • Identify expansion opportunities from technical reality rather than wishful mapping, size the work honestly, and hand qualified opportunity to the account team.
  • Anticipate what breaks at the next order of magnitude — peak-event volume, new policy regimes, upstream system migrations — and get ahead of it in the roadmap.

Trusted Technical Advisor:

  • Hold the primary technical relationship with senior stakeholders: VP/Head of Customer Experience, Director of Contact Center Technology, enterprise architects, security and compliance leadership, and often the CIO.
  • Advise on the parts of the program Netomi doesn’t own — knowledge base quality, policy clarity, agent operating model, org readiness — because agent performance depends on all of it.
  • Deliver hard technical news early and clearly. Credibility is built on accurate expectation-setting, not optimism.

Partner Co-Delivery:

  • Set the architecture and quality standard that SI delivery partners build against.
  • Certify and enable partner delivery teams; scale through them rather than absorbing all delivery work.
  • Maintain quality sign-off regardless of who executes.

Prescriptive Playbooks:

  • Contribute to vertical deployment blueprints — airline, insurance, gaming, media — covering reference architecture, guardrail configuration, evaluation packs, and expansion paths.
  • Turn what works in one account into prescriptive onboarding and day-2 playbooks the whole organization deploys from.

Product Collaboration:

  • Translate field observation into specific, evidenced, pattern-based product input — quantified, not anecdotal.
  • Be a named internal voice on enterprise requirements: security posture, deployment topology, model flexibility, and auditability.

Escalation & Incident Response:

  • Lead the technical side of escalations: quality regressions, integration failures, and incidents during peak events.
  • Drive root-cause analysis with Engineering and communicate it to the customer with precision and appropriate accountability.

Function-Level Technical Leadership:

  • Define and own the architecture, governance, and quality standards for the Customer Architect function: reference architectures, guardrail patterns, evaluation frameworks, and sign-off criteria.
  • Own the hardest technical problems in the portfolio — first-of-kind deployments, peak-event scale, novel compliance regimes — and convert their solutions into function-wide standards.
  • Mentor Senior and staff-level Customer Architects; act as the escalation point for architecture decisions across accounts.
  • Represent Customer Engineering’s technical position to executive leadership, Product, and Engineering, and shape platform direction based on aggregate field evidence.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years in customer-facing technical roles — solutions architecture, technical account management, forward-deployed engineering, implementation architecture, or technical consulting — including sustained ownership of post-sales technical outcomes.
  • Recognized technical authority at prior companies: the architect others escalated to, with demonstrated ownership of the largest and most complex enterprise accounts at Fortune 500 scale.
  • Genuine technical depth: reads code and API documentation, reasons about distributed systems and integration architecture, debugs a failing data flow, and holds their own with a customer’s principal engineer.
  • Working understanding of LLM-based systems — prompting, tool use, retrieval, evaluation, guardrails, failure modes — and judgment about where they are and aren’t the right answer.
  • Consultative and prescriptive: builds playbooks, not one-offs.
  • Moves between a CIO conversation about business outcomes and an engineering conversation about trace-level agent behavior without losing either audience.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward writing things down.
  • Track record defining architecture standards, methodologies, or playbooks adopted beyond your own accounts — at practice, function, or company level.
  • Experience influencing product direction at an enterprise software company through structured, evidenced field input.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience co-delivering through SI partners — enabling delivery teams rather than doing all the work directly.
  • CX, contact center, or conversational AI background — CCaaS, CRM/ticketing ecosystems, IVR and voice, workforce management.
  • Depth in a core vertical: airlines and travel, media and streaming, gaming and sports betting, financial services and insurance, or retail.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance — SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI, ISO 27001 — without escalating to Legal for every question.
  • Experience designing evaluation frameworks or quality programs for non-deterministic systems.

About the Role:

Netomi is seeking a Senior Customer Architect to own the technical arc of our most complex strategic enterprise accounts — multi-brand, multi-region programs with demanding security, compliance, and scale requirements. Reporting into our Customer Engineering organization, you will own the relationship from signed deal to expanded, in-production, governed value: the agent architecture, the integration blueprint, the adoption roadmap, and the evidence that it’s working.

Getting an AI agent live is no longer the hard part. The hard part is what comes after the pilot: expanding from one use case to twenty, holding quality as policies and systems change underneath you, proving containment and CSAT to a CIO, and earning the right to the next set of journeys. On our largest accounts, that work needs a senior named technical owner. That owner is the Senior Customer Architect.

You are deeply credible in a design review — able to read an execution trace, reason about why an agent chose the wrong tool, and design guardrails and evaluation strategy. You set the architecture and own quality sign-off; our Agentic Deployment team executes. Beyond your own portfolio, you raise the bar for the whole function: you mentor Customer Architects, lead playbook development for a vertical, and represent the function in the accounts where the stakes are highest. Practice Leadership:

  • Mentor Customer Architects on architecture decisions, account strategy, and stakeholder management; review their Technical Success Plans and quality sign-offs.
  • Lead playbook and reference architecture development for a core vertical, and drive its adoption across the account portfolio.
  • Take the first-of-kind deployments — new channels, new verticals, new deployment topologies — and turn what you learn into standards others execute against.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in customer-facing technical roles — solutions architecture, technical account management, forward-deployed engineering, implementation architecture, or technical consulting — including sustained ownership of post-sales technical outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ownership of multiple concurrent enterprise accounts at Fortune 500 scale, including programs spanning brands, regions, or lines of business, with senior technical stakeholders and real consequences to failure.

Operator AI Controls Solutions Engineer (HVAC Systems) at Phaidra

Operationalizes and scales AI control systems for enterprise data center customers, working with TPMs and data scientists to implement Phaidra's reinforcement learning platform.

Mid Remote Posted about 13 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Phaidra

Phaidra is building the future of industrial automation.

The world today is filled with static, monolithic infrastructure. Factories, power plants, buildings, etc. operate the same they’ve operated for decades — because the controls programming is hard-coded. Thousands of lines of rules and heuristics that define how the machines interact with each other. The result of all this hard-coding is that facilities are frozen in time, unable to adapt to their environment while their performance slowly degrades.

Phaidra creates AI-powered control systems for the industrial sector, enabling industrial facilities to automatically learn and improve over time. Specifically:

  • We use reinforcement learning algorithms to provide this intelligence, converting raw sensor data into high-value actions and decisions.
  • We focus on industrial applications, which tend to be well-sensorized with measurable KPIs — perfect for reinforcement learning.
  • We enable domain experts (our users) to configure the AI control systems (i.e. agents) without writing code. They define what they want their AI agents to do, and we do it for them.

Our team has a track record of applying AI to some of the toughest problems. From achieving superhuman performance with DeepMind’s AlphaGo, to reducing the energy required to cool Google’s Data Centers by 40%, we deeply understand AI and how to apply it in production for massive impact.

Phaidra’s ability to achieve its mission is determined by our ability to work together — as defined by our core values: Agency, Velocity, Craft, and Truth. We seek individuals who embody these values, as they are instrumental in ensuring our team consistently delivers excellence and fosters an engaging and supportive culture

Phaidra is based in the USA, but we are 100% remote with no physical office. We hire employees internationally with the help of our partner, OysterHR. Our team is currently located throughout the USA, Canada, UK, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Singapore, Australia, and India.

Who You Are

As an AI Controls Solutions Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in operationalizing and scaling Phaidra’s solutions for enterprise data center customers.

We are seeking a team member located in the following area: USA or Canada.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with the Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and Data Scientists (DSs), as the technical experts for Phaidra’s customers. Your role is to use Phaidra’s platform and tools to put AI into production.

This role can be broken down into four concrete areas of responsibility:

  • You will use Phaidra’s products and your knowledge of the customers’ needs to create a model of the facility for ingestion by our product lineup. This will require working closely with our Data Science team. You’ll understand the facility and configure our products according the facility and customer requirements. Then, you will commission and tune our products and assist in analyzing and triaging these systems in the support phase.
  • You will work with the product team to identify and define product requirements based upon each customer’s specification and needs. You will work closely with other AI Controls Solutions Engineers and the Product team to ensure our automated tools enable Phaidra to scale across thousands of customers. You will translate a combination of customer-stated and customer-implied needs into coherent needs documentation for use by the software development team.
  • You will provide ongoing support of deployed products, including support issue resolution and monitoring of performance. ****You will lead the deployment and support of multiple Solutions, perhaps in parallel. This includes resolving onboarding or support tickets by coordinating with the appropriate stakeholders or providing direct solutions. You will analyze the performance and viability of your engineered solutions, as well as troubleshoot, triage, and analyze issues with control systems and equipment. You will possess deep knowledge of Phaidra’s pipelines to effectively identify and address issues and actively manage risk.
  • You will act as an internal and customer-facing SME on a range of initiatives, including the delivery of platinum support to customers, providing technical advice to research projects, and supporting sales and marketing efforts.

*This role can include 25% travel

  • Ability to read and write Python scripts (in collaboration with the software engineering team) to implement Phaidra’s AI development tool for customer use cases.
  • Exhibits excellent communication skills and has the ability to explain complex domain specific concepts to non-domain experts and also explain complex AI and ML specific concepts to non-AI/ML specific customers.
  • Ability to own and manage large sections of documentation, fostering a culture of high standards in documentation and communication.
  • Ability to understand customers well and drive a culture of pragmatic urgency and customer satisfaction.
  • Supports peers and helps them to improve their work and does pairing sessions.
  • Independently uses AI tools to improve workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and support onboarding and troubleshooting.

Operator Marketing AI Intern at Azul

Build and deploy custom AI agents, automate marketing workflows, and integrate AI tools into the martech stack to improve team efficiency.

Junior Remote Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

As our Marketing AI Intern, you’ll help the marketing team work faster and smarter with AI. You’ll sit with the team and build the things that remove busywork — custom AI agents, automated workflows, and small internal tools. You don’t need to have done this job before. You need to be technical enough to pick it up quickly, and driven enough to keep going when the documentation runs out. We’ll teach you the marketing side. You will report to the Sr. Director, Marketing Operations.

This is a 4-month, full-time, contract role. You’ll be embedded with the marketing team from day one, working through a real backlog of AI projects on a daily cadence. This is a build role, not a shadowing role — expect to ship things people actually use.

This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the US.

What You’ll Do (aka Responsibilities)

Build AI Agents Build and improve custom AI agents and agentic workflows (using Claude, OpenAI GPTs, and similar platforms) that help specific marketing roles — field marketing, content, digital marketing, and marketing operations. You’ll collect feedback from the team and keep iterating.

Workflow Automation Learn tools like Zapier, MCP connectors, and LLM integrations, then use them to wire AI into our existing martech stack (Marketo, Salesforce, 6sense, and more), replacing manual steps with automated ones.

MCP Connectors Help build and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors across our marketing applications. MCP is how we give AI tools secure, structured access to our systems — we’ll teach you how it works, and you’ll own pieces of it as you ramp.

Prompt Engineering Help build a shared library of prompts, skills, and brand voice frameworks so AI output stays consistent across the team, and help document the guardrails for how we use these tools.

Backlog Delivery Work through projects from marketing’s AI backlog and ship something useful most weeks. Momentum and follow-through matter more here than polish.

Enablement & Office Hours Help run office hours and walk teammates through new tools. A lot of the value in this role comes from sitting next to someone and unblocking them.

Sharing What Works Document and share what you learn — what worked, what didn’t, and what’s worth trying next — so the whole team gets better, not just you.

Tool Evaluation Explore and evaluate AI tools and give an honest read on whether they’re worth adopting, keeping our data security and integration standards in mind.

Stretch Projects If you’re moving fast, there’s room to go deeper — Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), multi-modal AI, or more ambitious agent designs. (Nice to have, not expected.)

What You’ll Bring (aka Education, Experience, Skills)

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a similarly technical field — or able to show equivalent self-taught technical ability
  • Hands-on curiosity with LLMs like Claude, GPT, or Gemini — you’ve pushed past casual chatbot use and actually tried to build something with them
  • Show us something you’ve built: a script, a bot, an automation, a class project, a weekend hack. It doesn’t need to be professional or polished — it needs to be yours, and you need to be able to walk us through it.
  • Comfort reading and writing code (Python, JavaScript, or similar) and working your way through APIs and technical documentation
  • A go-getter mindset — you chase down answers, ask questions early, and don’t wait to be told what to do next
  • Willingness to learn fast in a space that changes month to month, and comfort being the person who figures it out
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical marketing stakeholders without condescension
  • Genuine interest in marketing and how a go-to-market team operates — prior marketing experience is not required

Helpful but not required experience:

  • Exposure to automation platforms (Zapier, n8n, or similar) or MarTech systems (CRM, marketing automation, analytics)
  • Experience with multi-modal AI (image generation, video, audio synthesis) is a plus

$20 - $25 an hour

The hourly pay for this role is $20 to $25 per hour.  Individual pay is determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

What we Offer

Operator Marketing AI Intern at Azul

Build and deploy custom AI agents, automate marketing workflows, and integrate AI tools into the martech stack while supporting team adoption and enablement.

Operator Lead AI GTM Engineer - 100% Remote - Europe at Hostaway

Designs, builds, and deploys AI-powered agents and workflows to automate marketing operations, integrates AI tools into the GTM tech stack, and measures business impact.

Lead Remote Posted 3 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Description

NOTE: This is a FULLY remote role, but the candidate must be within Europe to collaborate with their team, peers, and internal customers. You do not have to be in the specific country or city shown in this listing, but please only apply if you are physically based within Europe.

Trusted by 20,000+ property managers worldwide, Hostaway is an industry leading, AI-powered vacation rental management platform designed for professional short-term rental operators. Hostaway brings everything together for greater efficiency and faster growth.

Profitable, high-growth, and the first short-term rental PMS unicorn 🦄. Join us at our most exciting stage yet! Learn more about our recent valuation and story here.

About the role

Hostaway is looking for a Lead AI GTM Engineer to build the systems, workflows, and AI-powered tools that make our global marketing team faster, smarter, and more effective.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who combines deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of how modern marketing teams operate. You will work across Brand, Content, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Marketing Operations to identify where AI can improve performance, reduce manual work, and increase the quality and speed of execution.

You will decide where to buy, build, or automate; design and deploy agents and workflows; integrate AI into our marketing technology stack; and measure whether those solutions improve marketing performance and ROI.

This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You should be equally comfortable mapping a complex GTM workflow, evaluating a new AI platform, building an agent, connecting systems through APIs, and explaining the business impact to senior marketing leaders.

Your mission

  • Design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions, including agents, multi-step workflows, automations, and internal tools that solve real marketing problems.

    • For example, building a campaign builder that allows a marketer to input a brief, and the agentic workflow creates all of the assets, including versions and localizations, and connects to platforms like Meta/LinkedIn/Google to execute the ads in market.
  • Own build-vs-buy decisions by evaluating emerging AI and GTM platforms, testing their capabilities, and determining when to implement an existing solution versus build something custom.

  • Integrate AI agents and workflows with our marketing platforms, data sources, APIs, and internal systems.

    • For example, you can build an email automation workflow that connects to our platform to identify signals that would trigger an email cadence with all the branching logic, including writing the email, and connecting to HubSpot to deploy the email.
  • Establish AI evaluation and quality standards by testing accuracy, reliability, and output quality and continuously improving production workflows.

  • Optimize the economics of AI across token usage, API consumption, software costs, infrastructure, and human effort.

  • Stay ahead of emerging models, agent frameworks, platforms, and approaches, turning the most promising developments into practical advantages for Hostaway.

Requirements

  • Full-stack builder: Past engineering experience required, and you can independently design, build, deploy, and maintain AI-powered applications, agents, and multi-step workflows.

  • AI engineering expertise: Y ou have built AI agents and agentic workflows that have measurably improved team performance. This requires you to be comfortable working across models, APIs, orchestration frameworks, and coding environments such as Claude Code or similar tools.

  • AI platform fluency: You have hands-on experience evaluating and implementing emerging AI and GTM platforms such as Qualified, Clay, Jasper, Copy.ai, HubSpot Breeze, or similar tools, and you can quickly determine if they solve real-world business problems.

  • Platform integration expertise: You know how to connect systems. You have hands-on experience integrating platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Meta, Google, and LinkedIn and creating reliable data flows between them.

  • GTM fluency: You understand how modern B2B marketing works across brand, content, demand generation, product marketing, and marketing operations, and how those teams work together across the buyer journey and funnel.

  • Strong economic judgment: You understand the cost of automation and can evaluate tradeoffs between human effort, purchased software, API consumption, infrastructure, and token usage to choose the most efficient solution.

  • Data acquisition expertise: You are comfortable using APIs, web scraping, and other methods to turn external data into structured inputs for marketing, competitive intelligence, targeting, and automation.

  • Able to navigate ambiguity: You can identify the highest-impact opportunities, make pragmatic decisions with incomplete information, and move quickly from idea to working solution without needing heavy process or a large team.

What we offer

  • Competitive Compensation: We offer competitive pay based on market rates in the country of the applicant.

  • 100% Remote: Enjoy the freedom to work from anywhere within your country of residence—be it a co-working space, your home office, or even your dining room table. The choice is yours. Just don’t ask to work in our office (we don’t have one).

  • Equity: Every role in our company comes with valuable stock options in a fast-growing and profitable company. This ensures we all share in the company’s success.

  • Values-Driven Leadership: Our Core Values are not just words we’ve written to make us feel good. We leverage them daily when making strategic and tactical decisions.

  • Professional Growth: Our rapid growth offers unparalleled learning and development opportunities, along with a multitude of career advancement opportunities.

  • Annual Paid Leave: The specific amounts vary by country and are aligned with country and/or contract-specific norms.

  • Geographic Specific Benefits: As an international employer, we offer different country-specific benefits such as Health Insurance and Pensions in countries where these perks are customary. The specifics depend on the country of the applicant.

  • Dynamic Team Culture: As a global company with team members in over 40 countries, our diverse and international culture fuels our innovation and creativity, providing a key pillar to our success (and making it a lot of fun to work here).

Thank you for your interest. If you apply for this role, you will receive an email from our Talent Acquisition team after your application has been reviewed alongside the qualifications for this role and the qualifications of others who have applied.

Operator Junior AI-Augmented Product Engineer at Salsify

Uses AI tools to bridge product and engineering teams by gathering requirements, writing specifications, and orchestrating AI-assisted development workflows.

Junior Remote Posted 3 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Come join a company who is a key leader in the industry scaling the next core commerce infrastructure and on the path from $100M to $500M! Founded in 2012, Salsify helps brand manufacturers, distributors, and retailers in over 80 countries collaborate to win on the digital shelf. As the market leader globally, our products are shopper-centric, frictionless, and create memorable commerce experiences. Our products provide a competitive edge through experiences that improve brand trust, amplify product differentiation and assortments, increase conversion rate, improve profit margins, and speed time to market.

Learn how the world’s largest brands, including Mars, L’Oreal, Coca-Cola, Bosch, and GSK, as well as retailers and distributors such as E.Leclerc, Carrefour, Metro, and Intermarché use Salsify everyday to stand out on the digital shelf.

At Salsify, we strive to embody an equitable, diverse, and inclusive company culture. We are united across countries, levels, tenures, and a host of other dimensions of diversity. We understand that while work is just one aspect of who we are, a truly inclusive culture accounts for the full authenticity of every single human being that works here.

About the Opportunity

We are building next-generation internal AI-powered tools designed to empower our go-to-market teams with faster, more intelligent ways to understand customers, prioritize opportunities, and drive strategic decisions. As a Junior AI-Augmented Product Engineer, you’ll work hand-in-hand with the Platform Owner to shape and deliver new capabilities in an AI-first product development environment.

This is not a traditional hands-on coding role where you work independently on implementation. You’ll serve as a product-technical bridge: gathering and clarifying go-to-market business needs, framing problems, writing detailed functional and technical specifications, defining acceptance criteria, orchestrating AI-assisted changes through structured workflows, and verifying quality against strict architecture and design standards.

You will use advanced AI tools as your primary partner to accelerate from idea to verified delivery, while focusing on clear thinking, precise documentation, and cross-team alignment. The role requires strong collaboration, excellent written communication, command of AI usage with respect to software development, and comfort working across US and EMEA time zones.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys translating business value into technical reality, thrives on structured reasoning and documentation, and wants to grow in a modern, AI-augmented product engineering practice.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Partner daily with the Platform Owner to understand business challenges, stakeholder goals, and product priorities for internal tools that support go-to-market teams.
  • Lead or support requirements discovery (via calls, async docs, team meetings) to capture needs, edge cases, success metrics, and constraints.
  • Write and maintain high-quality product documentation: functional requirements, technical specifications, data flows, acceptance criteria, and architecture notes, adhering to established internal standards and patterns.
  • Turn requirements into clear, actionable plans and precise instructions for AI-assisted implementation; coordinate changes through iterative build-verify cycles.
  • Enforce consistent, enterprise-grade design patterns, architecture principles, and quality gates during planning, implementation review, and validation.
  • Participate in design and implementation reviews with a focus on correctness, maintainability, adherence to guidelines, and efficient use of AI workflows.
  • Run and troubleshoot automated quality checks (type checking, linting, tests); diagnose issues and propose targeted fixes.
  • Help keep system knowledge current: update reference documentation, track changes across versions, and surface ambiguities for resolution.
  • Support alignment with engineering, product, and go-to-market stakeholders across regions. Balance the demands of leaders with those of individual contributors.
  • Contribute to refining our AI-augmented development processes (better patterns, templates, automation ideas).
  • Communicate effectively across time zones (US / EMEA) using async documentation, collaboration tools, and occasional synchronous sessions.

You’ll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

Required

  • 2–4 years of experience in product engineering, technical product management, solution architecture, or junior full-stack/ frontend development roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, write clear functional/technical specs, and create acceptance criteria — with strong written English communication.
  • Solid understanding of modern web technologies (React, TypeScript, Node.js, REST APIs, PostgreSQL) and basic software architecture concepts.
  • Comfort with AI-assisted workflows (prompt engineering, using LLMs for code/spec generation, iterative verification).
  • Strong analytical mindset: ability to break down complex problems, spot ambiguities, and ask clarifying questions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills — fluent in English (written + verbal); able to work async and synchronously across cultures/time zones.
  • Located in Portugal with eligibility to work in the EU; available for hybrid Lisbon work when needed and flexible for US overlap hours (e.g., 2–4 PM Lisbon time).

Preferred

  • Exposure to AI platforms (Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, ChatGPT, Vertex AI) or RAG/grounding concepts.
  • Experience with SaaS product development, especially in sales/marketing intelligence, account-based tools, or enterprise data platforms.
  • Familiarity with Drizzle ORM, Vite, Express, or Google Cloud ecosystem.
  • Additional European languages (French, German, Spanish) are a plus for stakeholder interactions.
  • Hands-on experience with Replit, Cursor, or similar AI-coding environments.

Operator Junior AI-Augmented Product Engineer at Salsify

Uses AI tools to bridge product and engineering, translating business needs into specifications and orchestrating AI-assisted development workflows.
