About the Role
We build at scale, and we need recruiters who understand what that actually takes. As a member of Connected Warfare Production Recruiting team, you’ll own hiring for our Connected Warfare program, the manufacturing engineering, production, and supply chain talent that turns designs into deliverable systems on the factory floor.
This is hands-on, full cycle recruiting on a small team where no task is too big or too small. You’ll partner directly with operations and program leaders to define what “good” looks like, then go find it, pitch it, and close it. We’ll give you the autonomy and tools; we expect you to bring the bias for action. The best people in this role think like operators: they invent and simplify broken processes, they identify problems early and show up with solutions instead of getting lost in the details, and they put ego aside to do whatever the mission needs.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands production, who can speak the language of the floor, translate a hiring gap into its impact on throughput and revenue, and earn the respect of straight-shooting manufacturing and supply chain leaders. If you’re hungry, roll up your sleeves by default, and have a real passion for talent acquisition, you’ll fit right in.
This role is onsite in Costa Mesa, CA, Seattle, WA, or remote. It is open to contract only, with eligibility to convert. The ideal candidate brings startup, manufacturing, and/or relevant domain experience.
What You’ll Do
Move fast with a system. Source, track, and maintain a high volume of candidates without dropping the ball, keeping open lines of communication with stakeholders at every step.
Speak production fluently. Get into the business and onto the floor to understand the product, the technical roadmap, and the team’s manufacturing reality, i.e., takt times, cycle times, throughput, yield, so you can pitch the opportunity credibly to operators.
Connect headcount to outcomes. Translate a missing role into what it costs the line in throughput and revenue and use that to drive urgency and prioritization with hiring managers.
Be a trusted partner, not an order-taker. Build deep trust with operations and program leaders through consistency and a strong operating rhythm; influence talent strategy while executing on deliverables.
Close exceptional talent. Develop a sharp understanding of the mission, learn to pitch the team and opportunity, and bring offers across the line, including with candidates who are strong negotiators in their own right.
Run on data. Track and analyze pipeline and performance data to find areas of opportunity and turn it into a data-driven narrative that builds momentum.
Invent and simplify. Build recruiting strategies that scale with the company, implementing referrals, process improvements, and automation where they move the needle.
Master your tools. Act as a subject-matter expert in prospecting, information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, process automation, and candidate management.
Interview with judgment. Conduct candidate interviews and anticipate hiring-manager preferences, demonstrated through high interview-to-offer ratios.
Engage passive talent. Source through LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Boolean strings, referrals, and SOBO campaigns.
Protect the candidate’s experience. Deliver a consistent, positive experience throughout the process with proactive communication and engagement.
Core Requirements
4+ years of sourcing for technical roles and engaging top-tier talent.
3+ years of client-facing experience working with Hiring Managers and Directors, taking new requirements, reviewing profiles, and reporting pipeline progress.
A deep network and real fluency in manufacturing engineering, production, and/or supply chain. You understand the language of manufacturing (takt times, cycle times, throughput, yield) and have historically recruited roles like Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Test Engineers, Design Engineers, Purchasers, Buyers, and Industrial Engineers.
Operationally minded. You can hold your own with straight-shooting operations and manufacturing leaders, identifying problems early and bringing solutions rather than getting buried in detail, and earn their respect.
Strong closing and negotiation skills. You can articulate how you’ve successfully closed hard-to-win talent in the past and can negotiate offers with candidates who are themselves seasoned negotiators (e.g., buyers and purchasers).
Experience working with government contractors, DoD agencies, and IC agencies.
Experience hiring candidates with U.S. security clearances.
Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant-screening methods, and comfort with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.
A consultative track record, guidance that has led to better hiring outcomes, a positive candidate experience, and the respect of peers and clients.
Clear, effective communication to understand candidate motivation, drivers, and fit, plus disciplined management of multiple candidate funnels.
Self-sufficient and able to operate with little direct supervision.
Supply Chain Depth (Strongly Desired for those who will focus in Supply Chain
Supply chain talent is in high demand on this team. The strongest candidates for this need bring:
A clear picture of what a successful supply chain organization looks like inside a manufacturing company, ideally from automotive, aerospace, or similar environments, including what great leaders, program managers, buyers, and procurement specialists look like. Experience supporting CapEx organizations translates well here, too.
Awareness of which commodities currently face market constraints, and a track record staffing procurement, buyer, and purchasing roles against those constraints.
Understanding of the procurement cycle, including RFP and RFQ processes.
Proven ability to close and negotiate, buyers and purchasers are strong negotiators, so we need a recruiter who can negotiate offers just as strongly.
Preferred Requirements
US Salary Range
$60—$80 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril’s total compensation package. Additionally, Anduril offers top-tier benefits for full-time employees, including:

Lead recruiter owns full-cycle recruiting for GTM and G&A roles, sources candidates, manages recruiting operations, and maintains hiring quality amid rapid company growth.
It’s time to build. Whether it’s creating more housing, upgrading our infrastructure, or adapting to climate change, one thing is clear: the construction industry is at the center of solving our biggest problems. We’re making buildings cheaper and easier to build by transforming the way commercial construction companies buy their materials. Join us.
Founded in 2018, Kojo is now one of the fastest-growing construction technology companies in the world. Construction accounts for $10 trillion in global spend annually and we can’t live without its output - our roads, schools, hospitals, and offices. Despite this, there’s been very little innovation over the past 70 years in how materials - which constitute up to 40% of project costs - are bought and sold. This is our opportunity.
About the Role
To meet our season of record-breaking customer growth and AI product innovation, we’re bringing on a Recruiting Lead to own the recruiting function end to end. Primarily in the GTM/G&A realms, entry-level to senior leadership searches will fall under this recruiter’s purview - plus the recruiting operations that keep the machine running behind the scenes.
In a talent landscape that’s ever-evolving and increasingly competitive, a best in class recruiting function is more important than ever. Our hiring methodology isn’t sheer volume, but sincere business partnership and quality of hire. You’ll work with hiring managers as an extension of their team and manage the operations and scalability to maintain best in class hiring amid global expansion. As a Series C company growing at this record-breaking pace, every hire you make has an outsized impact on what Kojo becomes next. There’s no more pivotal time to join and help us take Kojo further into the candidate market.
What you’ll own:
Own full-cycle recruiting for Kojo’s GTM and G&A searches, from intake to offer, across levels from entry-level to senior leadership.
Actively source best-in-class candidates, both active and passive, and ensure a white glove candidate experience through consultative, timely communication and market intelligence to properly matchmake between open roles at Kojo.
Manage, iterate, and continue to run the operating rhythm behind recruiting: profile debriefs and ICP iterations, pipeline reviews, and the reporting cadence that keeps hiring managers and leadership aligned on where every search stands.
Manage Ashby as Kojo’s ATS and single source of truth for headcount budgeting, owning requisition workflows, scorecards, and the data hygiene that makes every pipeline report trustworthy.
Own compensation benchmarking for open reqs, partnering with our Director of People on real-time GTM and G&A market data instead of last year’s numbers.
Continuously close candidates through every stage in the hiring process to ensure a best in class offer acceptance rate, and manage the offer for every close, partnering directly with Finance on budget and approval before it goes out.
Diagnose where the recruiting process itself is the bottleneck, time-to-fill, drop-off stage, interviewer load, and fix it before it becomes a leadership question.
Leverage AI-enabled workflows and internal tools (e.g., Claude, Granola, Notion, LinkedIn Recruiter) to understand market signals at scale by synthesizing feedback, hiring patterns, and requests to identify opportunities before they become obvious.
About You
We’re looking for the recruiter who treats every search as the chance to bring exceptional talent and outsized impact to Kojo. Our ideal Lead Recruiter is a student of the market: constantly building a genuine knowledge base of the ever-changing talent landscape in AI and construction, and knowing where the best talent sits today and what it takes to get them excited about Kojo.
Early stage experience is strongly preferred in this environment. Priorities shift, searches evolve, and there’s a sincere opportunity to scale far beyond the bounds of this job description. We’re looking for someone who wants to build with the company and may be operating as an individual contributor today, but has the curiosity to scale into broader leadership roles as we continue to grow.
What we’re looking for:
Full-cycle ownership: You’ve run searches start to finish, from intake call to signed offer (and hopefully hiring high-slope talent where those candidates become long-term employees), without needing a coordinator to hold your hand through any stage.
GTM fluency: You know the difference between what makes a great SDR and what makes a great enterprise AE, and you screen for it accordingly (deep GTM specialization is ideal, not required for every search).
Early-stage instinct: “You’ve recruited inside a company early enough in its growth that you were also inventing and iterating upon the process, not just following one.
Ops discipline: You treat your ATS as a system of record and have demonstrated experience trusting that data and partnering with Operations and Finance stakeholders to allow your data to inform business decisions.
Independent operation: You have strong judgement to know what’s urgent, what’s important, and where your time and energy should go in order to best serve the business in real time. You have experience pattern matching not only with candidate themes, but consistently upleveling the internal recruiting function from the inside out.
AI-literate sourcing: You’ve used AI tools to speed up sourcing or screening, and you can point to a specific moment you overrode the tool’s judgment with your own.
Range across levels: You’ve closed both an entry-level hire and a senior leadership hire in the same quarter, and you didn’t treat either one as the easy one.
What you care about:
ACCOUNTABILITY: You own the calibration call between a hiring manager who wants faster and a comp band that isn’t moving, and you make the trade-off explicit instead of quietly splitting the difference.
IMPACT: You’re running searches at three different levels at once, and you always know which one earns the next hour of your day.
GROWTH: You read the market data before you defend a comp number, not after a candidate pushes back on it.
Salary: Your salary will be dependent upon many factors, including your experience level, skillset, market dynamics and balancing internal equity relative to other Kojo employees. The compensation and benefits information that we provide is based on Kojo’s good-faith estimate as of the date of the job posting and may be modified in the future.
Benefits: This position is also eligible for a new hire equity grant and all US-based full time employees are eligible for our full suite of perks and benefits. For more information about our perks and benefits, check out https://www.usekojo.com/careers.
Location: Kojo’s team members work from home 100% of the time across North and South America. If applicable, we’ll identify the travel and/or location-specific requirements of a position in the text above. Otherwise, team members can expect to work business hours congruent with their local time zone and remotely.
Inclusive Workplace: Kojo values diverse perspectives and is committed to building an inclusive workplace. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and do not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, citizenship, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. We strongly encourage people from underrepresented groups to apply.
Scam Notice: Please be aware that there are individuals and organizations that may attempt to scam job seekers by offering fraudulent employment opportunities in the name of Kojo. These scams may involve fake job postings, unsolicited emails, or messages claiming to be from our recruiters or hiring managers. Kojo will never ask for any personal account information, such credit card details or bank account numbers, during the recruitment process.
Designs and executes compensation, equity, and benefits strategies while partnering with finance, legal, and leadership to scale total rewards programs across the organization.
Hi! I’m Rachel and I lead People Operations here at Ashby. I recently joined and I’m excited that we’re expanding our team! The People Operations Team provides support to Ashby employees through the development and implementation of programs, policies, and services that contribute to a productive and inclusive working environment. We ensure that the work we do aligns with our Operating Principles and strengthens the environment we’re building at Ashby. Our approach is to do things differently – we prioritize what truly fits our team and enhances how we work together. By embracing creativity and customization, we aim to create a people-first culture that drives both individual and organizational success.
We review all applications, and there isn’t a benefit to applying quickly. Take your time, look at the application questions and please submit before the application deadline! We aren’t able to take calls outside of the interview process, so reaching out to the team won’t push your application forward.
We’re looking for an experienced Total Rewards Leader to build and own Ashby’s total rewards function through our next phase of growth.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role responsible for how we approach compensation, equity, and benefits globally. You’ll serve as the functional owner for Total Rewards responsible for setting the philosophy, building the infrastructure, and driving execution while bringing the judgment and leadership needed to help us scale the function over time.
Ashby’s Total Rewards philosophy is thoughtful, principled, and intentionally not one-size-fits-all. Compensation approaches may vary by functional area in order to best fit each part of the organization. Total Rewards provides the structure, documentation, guidance, and governance needed to ensure those approaches remain equitable, competitive, and scalable. Across the company, our shared intent is to be competitive in the market and adapt quickly as markets evolve.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with People Ops, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and functional leaders to design programs that support how Ashby attracts, retains, and rewards exceptional talent. You’ll help us build a more scalable approach to compensation and total rewards while preserving the flexibility that allows different parts of the business to operate effectively.
We’re looking for someone who has built and scaled Total Rewards programs in high-growth VC backed SaaS companies and who is equally energized by philosophy, systems, and execution. You should be comfortable defining direction while also rolling up your sleeves to run analyses, refine tools and processes, support leaders through nuanced decisions, and build the operating foundation for the future.
This role will start as an individual contributor and is expected to evolve into people management as the function scales.
Building Ashby’s compensation infrastructure
You’ll work closely with founders, executives, and functional leaders to build and evolve Ashby’s compensation foundations globally. This includes compensation bands, leveling alignment, market positioning, review cadences, benchmarking methodology, guidance for offers, promotions, refreshers, and market adjustments, and clearer compensation structure where it is still needed.
You’ll help ensure our approach can support a mix of more mature compensation structures and areas where it is still evolving. You’ll bring structure to ambiguity and create frameworks that are principled, practical, and scalable. You will support leaders in assessing tradeoffs, documenting non-standardized components, and put the right level of governance in place.
Monitoring the market and helping Ashby adapt quickly
You’ll leverage market data, internal data, and external trends to inform compensation decisions across the business. You’ll help Ashby maintain its target market position and ensure we are responding thoughtfully and consistently when market conditions change.
This includes identifying where certain teams may be moving faster than others, spotting gaps in coverage, and building mechanisms to ensure we are catching market movement across the company, not just in the functions with the loudest signals.
Owning Total Rewards strategy end-to-end
You’ll own Ashby’s Total Rewards strategy across compensation, equity, benefits, and perks. In partnership with founders and company leaders, you’ll define the philosophy, principles, and long-term direction for how we reward employees globally.
You’ll continuously evaluate our programs, identify opportunities to improve them, and make recommendations that balance market competitiveness, internal equity, business needs, and long-term sustainability.
Leading benefits strategy and administration
You’ll lead the strategy, selection, evaluation, and ongoing management of Ashby’s benefits programs globally. This includes broker and vendor management, renewals, plan design review, competitiveness assessment, and the systems and processes that support a strong employee experience.
Leading equity program infrastructure
You’ll help operationalize Ashby’s equity programs in close partnership with Finance and company leadership. You’ll bring greater structure, consistency, and scalability to equity practices, support program administration, and help employees better understand how equity fits within our broader Total Rewards philosophy.
Building scalable systems and operations
You’ll continuously improve the systems, workflows, documentation, and operational processes that support Total Rewards. You’ll work with tools such as CandorIQ, Pave, and OpenComp to help Ashby get roles to market quickly, make pay decisions efficiently, and adjust programs as the business and market evolve.
You’ll look for opportunities to use automation, AI, and strong operational design to improve efficiency, increase accuracy, and create a better experience for employees, managers, and the People team.
Acting as a trusted cross-functional partner
You’ll serve as the subject matter expert for Total Rewards across the organization. You’ll partner with Finance on budgeting and workforce planning, Talent Acquisition on hiring strategy and offer guidance, and People Business Partners and functional leaders on promotions, organizational changes, and complex compensation decisions.
You’ll help leaders navigate rewards decisions with sound judgment, fairness, and clarity.
Preparing the function to scale
While this role begins as a hands-on functional owner, you’ll build with future scale in mind. You’ll establish the documentation, operating rhythms, standards, and decision-making frameworks needed for the function to grow over time, and you’ll help identify future organizational needs as Ashby continues to scale.
You bring several years of progressive Total Rewards experience, including meaningful ownership of compensation, benefits, and equity programs in high-growth organizations.
You have deep compensation expertise and have built compensation programs and infrastructure from the ground up.
You understand how to operate in an environment where some principles are centralized and other elements are tailored by function.
You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and using data, judgment, and business context to make recommendations.
You’ve built and scaled compensation frameworks and benefits programs for globally distributed organizations, ideally through periods of significant growth.
You know how to support leaders with different needs and viewpoints while maintaining trust, consistency, and strong decision quality.
You’re highly effective in both strategy and execution and are comfortable being the primary owner of the work day to day.
You’re an exceptional communicator who can explain complex Total Rewards topics clearly to a wide range of audiences.
You are detail-oriented, operationally strong, and always looking for ways to improve systems, processes, and program quality.
You’ve previously led or managed others, or you’re excited to help build and eventually scale a future Total Rewards team.
Experience building and scaling global compensation and benefits programs across multiple regions and employment models.
Experience leveraging automation, AI, and technology to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of Total Rewards operations.
Experience working with tools such as CandorIQ, Pave, and OpenComp.
An advanced degree in HR, business, finance, or organizational development.
An HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CCP, or CEBS.
You want to bring your own total rewards play book and implement it at Ashby rather than reimagining how to evolve what has already been started.
You prefer operating within highly standardized Total Rewards programs rather than building and evolving them in a more flexible environment.
You are less interested in the hands-on work required to run a Total Rewards function.
You’re uncomfortable making decisions in ambiguity or helping leaders navigate nuanced compensation questions without overly relying on rigid rules.
Your experience is concentrated in only one area of Total Rewards, with limited exposure to compensation, equity, and benefits more broadly.
You’re not energized by partnering across functions, balancing competing perspectives, and shaping practical solutions.
Most of your experience has been in highly mature organizations with established programs, processes, and teams, and you haven’t had to build infrastructure during periods of growth and change.
Our interview process is thorough — we aim to ensure each person joining the team is the right fit for Ashby and will provide ample information to assess if Ashby is the right fit for you. The process for this role is as follows:
Recruiter Screen with Talent Acquisition Team - 30 minutes
Hiring Manager Interview - 45 minutes
